Heartland XV to play New Zealand Marist XV

The New Zealand Rugby Union received special dispensation from the International Rugby Board for this match and for the Heartland Championship to be played during the tournament.
The game will form part of the nationwide Real New Zealand festival of events during the RWC tournament offering overseas visitors and locals the opportunity to take part in events and celebrations that celebrate all things New Zealand.
The Heartland XV is a selection of the top eligible players from the Heartland Championship and will be named after the semifinal weekend of 1-2 October.
The Heartland XV v New Zealand Marist XV kicks off at 2.00pm at Bayer Growers Stadium in Pukekohe.
