Romano, who has had some minor concerns with his shoulder in the past with the Chiefs, looked to have re-injured himself in the second Bledisloe at Eden Park, but tests throughout the week result in All Blacks management advising he was clear to play.
This means that Romano will join Conrad Smith and Tony Woodcock as players ready to come back into the fold, meaning that the All Blacks are full strength from their original squad - with the exception of course of Sonny Bill Williams.
The 26-year-old lock has 31 Investec Super Rugby caps with the Crusaders, and 25 with Canterbury, and has been hailed in some quarters as the physical presence the All Blacks need in the engine room following the departure of Brad Thorn.
