The pair were enlisted by adidas to trial the latest version of miTeam and create the one-off strips for their teammates. miTeam provides football and rugby clubs from all over New Zealand with an opportunity to custom-design their teamwear.
adidas marketing manager Nadia Scott said these days more and more teams are looking for ways to customise their own uniforms and footwear.
"With miTeam, amateur and professional teams have thousands of options to create their own unique uniforms. Teams have the opportunity to select from 15 different team colours and add a huge variety of personalisation items such as player numbers and team names. Team crests and sponsor logos can also be added."
The miTeam product range consists of footwear, apparel and accessories, available in most sizes and for both youth and adults.
Once a team has created their own mi adidas Team kit, the new www.miteam.com website enables team members to share their designs through Facebook, Twitter and blogs to agree on a common design for their personalised uniform with their teammates.
miTeam customised products are orderable through dedicated adidas specialist retailers across New Zealand. The new www.miteam.com website was specifically created for the formats of tablet PCs to give teams, retailers and sales representatives the opportunity to create anytime, anywhere.
