Chiefs’ coach Dave Rennie said “Fritz got minimal game time but showed a fantastic attitude through out the 2012 campaign. He is a good team man who has made some positive shifts and we're looking forward to a big Super Rugby season from him.”
Lee was having a strong ITM Cup season for Counties Manukau prior to breaking his arm against Bay of Plenty and was happy to get the call from Dave Rennie prior to the Bay of Plenty game confirming a position for him in the team for the next season.
“I have unfinished business with the Chiefs and have a lot to prove, so I am rapt that the Chiefs management team have given me the opportunity to do this,” said Fritz.
