For now, Hansen wanted the team to focus on what they had just accomplished, in not only winning the inaugural trophy, but in remaining unbeaten since beginning their reign as World Champions.
Indeed, it was paying homage to that tag, as well as targeting The Investec Rugby Championsip, that were crucial goals for the team pre-season.
"Records are something that reflect what you've done rather than something you should be chasing," said Hansen.
Some, from the All Blacks themselves to the more critical fans, feel that the team hadn't put in a complete performance since defeating Ireland by a record margin in the last test of the Steinlager Series, but Hansen didn't deny the side finally delivered what many felt they had been promising.
"It was one our best performances of the season," said Hansen.
"The manner we did it was very satisfying. To be able to attack like that, you have to have a platform and the forwards played very well today."
