Masaga looking good to pass fitness test

Masaga, one of the Chiefs finest this season, suffered an injury and his calf and ankle have been carefully monitored while using up all of the ice from the cold machines at Ruakura.
While the wing was on the verge of full fitness, Chiefs coach Dave Rennie said he would only play if he was 100 percent, and will have to be cleared at the Chiefs captain's run today.
Other injuries are a minor factor, but won't prevent players from turning out in the franchise's second straight final at home.
Ben Afeaki remains on the bench after taking some heavy knocks last weekend, while Craig Clarke and Tanerau Latimer have overcome neck and calf complaints respectively.
Latimer starts for the second straight week, keeping Sam Cane on the bench, who came onto the field all guns blazing last week against the Crusaders.
