Retallick recognised as Chiefs best for 2014

The uncompromising giant was surprised to have won both awards in the event hosted by highly entertaining SKY commentator Sumo Stevenson and attended by over 200 Chiefs sponsors, family and investors.
Hooker Nathan Harris won Rookie of the Year and Chiefs Manager Stu Williams who has managed the team for over seven years and 100 Super Rugby games was presented the Outstanding Contribution Award.
The event featured some highly entertaining commercials done by the Chiefs players and coaches and also marked the official farewell for the players leaving the Chiefs environment. There were many tributes including stand out ones to Chiefs Centurion Tanerau Latimer who is heading to Japan and veteran Mahonri Schwalger who is planning on returning to his home in Samoa.
The Chiefs will head to Eden Park on Friday night to play the Blues in their final round robin match.
