Prop Sio missed the semi-final victory over Argentina due to an elbow injury, but returns in place of James Slipper in the only alteration to the Wallabies' line-up.

Australia have one survivor from their last World Cup final appearance in 2003, in the form of veteran inside centre Matt Giteau.

Head coach Cheika said: "This week we've had a strong focus on improving certain areas in our game where we feel we haven't been at our best in the previous matches.

"We still have lots of scope to improve and we'll work on that before this next match against New Zealand.

"Our lads are learning to cherish each opportunity they have in the gold jersey and this week we have that opportunity again and we'll be doing our best to make Australia proud of its rugby team."

Both Australia and defending champions New Zealand - who named an unchanged line-up earlier on Thursday - have the opportunity to become the first nation to win three World Cups.
