The Rugby World Cup 2019 Trophy Tour will see the Webb Ellis Cup travel across five continents and 18 nations as part of an international celebration of rugby in the lead up to Japan 2019.

Rapidly-growing rugby markets Brazil, China, India, USA, Germany and Spain will play host to the tour, while Chile, Malaysia, Nepal and Pakistan will host the Webb Ellis Cup for the first time. France, Ireland, South Africa, Fiji, the Philippines and Hong Kong will also play host before the Webb Ellis Cup arrives in Japan for a national tour ahead of the tournament.

World Rugby Chairman Bill Beaumont said: "We are delighted to be announcing a global schedule of Rugby World Cup 2019 Trophy Tour destinations. This programme will play a major role in promoting and celebrating rugby in markets that are of strategic importance to the growth of the game, while also providing a platform to showcase the excellent Impact Beyond 2019 legacy programme, that is welcoming more than one million new participants to the sport in Asia."
