The Almanac is packed with more coverage of the women’s game than ever before with 82 pages devoted to women’s rugby.

It was a bumper year for the women’s game with the Black Ferns lifting their fifth Rugby World Cup title, the Black Ferns Sevens taking out the overall World Series Sevens championship, Canterbury winning the Farah Palmer Cup and growth in female player numbers throughout the country.

Black Ferns and Black Ferns Sevens flyer Portia Woodman was also acknowledged for her stellar season by being named as one of the five players of the year alongside Codie Taylor, Waisake Naholo, Sam Cane and Rieko Ioane.

The NZ Rugby Almanack is now available to purchase at all good book stockists.
