Junior All Blacks name team for Australia A clash     14 Jun 2007

Both teams are unbeaten in the competition so far with the Junior All Blacks leading the points table on 15 points, one ahead of Australia A going into the penultimate round of competition matches.

Junior All Blacks Co-coaches Colin Cooper and Ian Foster have made six changes to the line-up that started against Tonga in Nuku’alofa last weekend.

Lock Hoani MacDonald returns from injury, Jerome Kaino is the new No 6 and Sione Lauaki will start at No 8.

Andrew Ellis is at No 9 and Stephen Donald is the first five-eighth with Ma’a Nonu starting at centre.

Junior All Blacks Co-Coach Ian Foster said the team was excited about playing in front of their home crowd.

“After three significant wins against the Pacific Island nations, we are excited about playing at home,” he said.

“Australia A is tracking well and they are also unbeaten. They have been bolstered by the inclusion of six Wallabies and we also have some players coming back from injury. The challenge for both teams is to see which side will settle best with the new combinations.”

SKY TV will televise the game live from 4.40pm (NZ time).
