Kevin O'Neill

Already known to his team-mates as 'Giant', Kevin O'Neill grew in stature during Canterbury's campaign last term where he was the only player to start all 12 matches. Formerly of Thames Valley, he was raised in the same town as current All Black second rower Keith Robinson and will be looking to extend on his 10 Super 14 caps he has gathered over two seasons. O'Neill's two starts last term were against the Cats and the Western Force. He was part of the World Cup-winning Under 21 team in 2003. He went to school in Auckland but moved down to Christchurch to further his rugby career.
