Able to cover both lock and loose forward positions, Rawinia Everitt has been one of the team’s leading performers.
She was missed in 2015, when injury prevented her from joining the Black Ferns for the International Super Series in Canada and made a strong return in 2016, appearing in two Tests.
The 2012 and 2014 New Zealand Women’s Player of the year was an important part of Counties Manukau’s return to the Women’s Provincial Championship in 2013 and their Farah Palmer Cup success in 2016, with her ball skills, high work rate and commitment complementing her captaincy skills.
