Toka Natua

Powerful young prop Toka Natua earned selection in the Black Ferns for the first time in 2015 after a big 2014 season for Waikato in the then-Women’s Provincial Championship.

She made her debut against Canada and started all three Tests in the International Super Series. Although noted for her strength and scrummaging, Natua retains the speed and agility that saw her play in the loose forwards throughout her career, including a big stretch at number 8 for Waikato.

In 2016 she carried a big workload for the Black Ferns, starting all five Tests.
