Eloise Blackwell

An experienced campaigner, the impressive Eloise Blackwell was a key part of the Black Ferns' lineout during the 2014 International Women's Rugby Series and is expected to be a valuable contributor in her first Women's Rugby World Cup.

Originally from Great Barrier Island, a move to the Ponsonby Club – the rugby starting point for many great New Zealand players - provided a catalyst for an impressive career in the Auckland colours.  Blackwell already has some useful experience having made her first class debut in 2009 as an 18-year-old.
