Charmaine McMenamin

Charmaine McMenamin returned to the Black Ferns in 2016 for the first time since 2013, when she featured in the International Series against England. She was part of every Test in the 2016 campaign as the Black Ferns defended the Laurie O’Reilly Memorial Trophy and overcame England, Canada and Ireland. She started the last three Tests on tour at openside.

The versatile loose forward – who can cover both sides at the back of the scrum - has been focusing on sevens for the last few seasons but has continued to turn out for the Auckland Storm, representing the Ponsonby club, and she scored a try in the 2016 Farah Palmer Cup Final against Counties Manukau.Favourite rugby ground
