Josh Blackie

A senior in the Highlanders after debuting in 2001, Blackie has been one of the outstanding openside flankers in New Zealand for the past three years. He has played for New Zealand Under 21, where he started ahead of current All Black Richie McCaw. Blackie was brought into the NZ Sevens squad in 2006 to sure up its Commonwealth Games campaign and played an integral part in its gold-winning performance.
