Declan O’Donnell

Originally a sevens star, the Waikato flyer made his debut in the All Blacks Sevens in 2010/11 and was a stand-out player at the Wellington Sevens impressing with his electric speed and powerful step, racking up a hat-trick to help New Zealand take the title. Brother of former sevens player Kylem O’Donnell, Declan is another player to have excelled with New Zealand Under 20 and his form saw him selected for the Maori All Blacks in 2012 and the Highlanders. In 2017, O'Donnell was named in the Maori All Blacks squad to take on the British & Irish Lions.
