Manawatu development (2010, 2009)
Manawatu Under 20 (2008)

Curry stepped into the captaincy role vacated by DJ Forbes in 2015, topping off a stellar season where he was named New Zealand Sevens Player of the Year. A serious shoulder injury cut short his season. Now back in black and determined to lead New Zealand well at Rio. With legendary All Black back Jeff Wilson as your rugby hero, no surprises that Curry prides himself on strong running and iron defence. He got his big break in the Manawatu in the same environment that produced sevens maestro Tomasi Cama. With strength and pace, he has been a key player for the team since his debut in 2010 in Dubai. A natural athlete, he loves relaxing on the golf course, playing guitar, and taking Luca, his Border Collie Lab cross pup for walks on the beach. When rugby’s over the trained science teacher may take his skills to the classroom.
