Brad Shields

PHYSICAL AND ROBUST, New Zealand Under 20 alumnus Brad Shield’s selection continues a remarkable two years since he made his provincial debut at 19 and an incredible few months since making his Investec Super Rugby debut in the opening week of the competition.

Part of the Junior World Championship-winning Under 20 side at last year’s tournament in Italy, and a former deputy head boy and sporting star at Lower Hutt’s Taita College, the enterprising loosie has impressive fetching skills and strength and was one of the Hurricanes’ key signings for 2012.
