There's no denying it has been a tough year to be a Blues fan.  Three wins from 15 matches and a horrendous injury toll have seen the Blues slump to 13th on the Super Rugby ladder.

But throughout the season there have been a passionate army of True Blue fans cheering on the team and never faltering in their support, regardless of the result.

As a way to say thanks to our digital cheer squad, the Blues invited our most passionate followers on Social Media along to ‘True Blue HQ’ at Eden Park on Saturday night for the Western Force game – an exclusive get together, or ‘tweet up’.

The Blues fans came along to their own private box in the South Stand to catch up with fellow supporters, have some food and drinks and watch the game with Blues players Jerome Kaino, Anthony Boric, Charlie Faumuina, Gareth Anscombe, George Moala, Brad Mika, David Raikuna and Pauliasi Manu.

They were also all given their own individualised t-shirts, with #TrueBlue on the front and their very own twitter handle on the back.

It was a brilliant night to chat about the season and put faces to the names of our most passionate fans on Twitter.

Apologies we couldn’t accommodate all of our most passionate fans but there will be plenty of opportunities next season!

The Blues wrap up their season this weekend with a clash against the Brumbies in Canberra.
