Normally a rampaging loose forward, Nick Williams found himself in the unfamiliar position of lock for a number of games during the 2005 Air New Zealand NPC. His 1.92m, 120kg frame is commanding and ensures that every time he carries the ball he gets over the advantage line.
Now a well established member of the Blues Squad this rampaging loose forward has his sights set on a regular spot in the starting line-up. Over the course of recent seasons Williams has focused on improving his work-rate, fitness, defence and his ability to secure possession. This to go with his natural ability with the ball in hand makes for a devastating combination.
