Chiefs board looking forward to a big 2013 season

The newly appointed Chiefs’ board assembled for the first time this week for a major induction process to review all parts of the franchise.

Following the meeting,board members Dallas Fisher, Gary Dawson, Matthew Boyd, Brian King, Jon Mayson,Jeremy Curragh, Phil Harris, and NZRU observer Brent Impey asserted that the organisation was in a highly positive position heading into 2013.

The recent changes in the board will enable last season’s winners to progressively move forward, focusing on team performance, commercial growth and providing the resource to compete at the highest level in one of the world’s toughest sporting competitions.

After the meeting,re-appointed Chairman Dallas Fisher said: “It is great to see the re-commitment of so many existing Chiefs’ members and sponsors and the interest of new ones, who want to be part of our exciting season ahead”.

Mr Fisher highlighted that continued community and commercial support were critical to the on-going success of the Chiefs heading into the 2013 campaign.
