end day one as Pool A winners after a 19-7 victory against Samoa in Match 24.

In the final match of day one hosts New Zealand lead Samoa 12-0 at half-time.

No scores in the second seven minutes meaning Match 23 ends 10-10 and France finish as Pool D runners-up whilst Australia finish third.

have confirmed their place in the Cup quarter-finals after a 24-14 victory against Argentina in Match 18, ensuring they end day one unbeaten.

The Cooks come from behind to clinch a brilliant win thanks to Jerome Vogel's try against disappointed USA, 26-22, in Match 17.

snatch a 21-14 victory against Scotland in Match 16,

Yet another thriller. Scotland and Samoa go into half-time tied at 7-7.

And the defending champions New Zealand add a further 28 points to record a 54-0 victory against Japan in Match 15 to the delight of the home crowd.

All four teams in Pool D have now won one and lost one after Australia defeat Canada in Match 14.

hold on to their narrow lead and beat Kenya 26-17 in Pool D and Match 13.

France edging Kenya 12-5 at half-time in a tight contest after Vincent Deniau scored twice...

- Nine points from Alex Walker is enough to help Wales to a 19-7 victory against Argentina in Match 12 - half way through day one. Argentina will now enter the Bowl competition having lost both of their opening two matches.

After drawing with Tonga in their opening match Wales take a 12-0 lead into the break against Los Pumas.

16:58 - Tonga
have caused a major shock on day one, beating current Series leaders Fiji 17-14 in Match 11.

16:44 -
Fiji and Tonga are in the middle of a Pacific Island battle at the westpac, but it is the latter who score a try on the stroke of half-time to lead 10-7  at the break.

16:36 - Match 10
ends with England's Tom Mitchell scoring their fifth try in a 29-0 victory against USA.

England on course to join South Africa and maintain their 100% record as they lead 12-0 against USA.

16:13 -
A double from Cornal Hendricks and 11 points from Cecil Afrika in Match 9 ensure South Africa record a 43-0 victory against the Cooks and maintain their 100% record.

South Africa looking good for a second win, leading the Cook Islands 19-0 after the first seven.

The 2009/10 Series champions Samoa manage to secure a 29-14 victory against Japan thanks to two tries from Lolo Lui in Match 8, as the first round of pool matches comes to its conclusion.

And they are back on their feet as New Zealand captain DJ Forbes scores a hat-trick to secure a 29-7 victory against Scotland. The hosts' title defence has begun following Match 7.

draw the scores level but it is Canada's Ciaran Hearn who secures a 19-14 victory for Geraint John's side in Match 5

Canada take a 14-7 lead into the break against Dubai Sevens runners-up France.

- Match 4 ends as a draw. Thrilling encounter between Wales and Tonga which the crowd loved!

The joint Series leaders Fiji impressively beat Los Pumas 31-0 including 11 points from Kolinisau to top Pool C in Match 3. Next Wales v Tonga.

13:44 - Fiji get their match against Argentina underway...

13:38 - No repeat of the defeat suffered in 2009 as England score two more tries to win 27-12 in Match 2.

13:29 - Mat Turner scores his 16th try of the Series as England lead the Cooks 17-0 at half-time.

13:17 - South Africa run out 21-0 winners against USA thanks to two tries from Cecil Afrika in Match 1 to go top of Pool A after the first match of the day. Next up England v Cook Islands...

13:08 - Despite a strong start by the Eagles, South Africa lead 14-0 at the break.

13:00 - South Africa and USA kick off in match one at the Hertz Sevens as the crowd starts to seep in at the Westpac.
