Meanwhile, South Africa's Sharks will take on the Reds in their Super Rugby qualifier without two key backs, Patrick Lambie and Frans Steyn.
The Springbok duo were not named in the Sharks side to travel to Brisbane for Saturday's play-offs clash.
Lambie aggravated an ankle injury during the Sharks 34-15 win over the Cheetahs.
But Steyn was not eligible for the remainder of the competition because he was signed by the Sharks after the April 1 transfer deadline.
Another ankle injury prevented lock Pieter-Steph du Toit making the trip but his absence has been recovered by the return from injury of fellow lock Steven Sykes.
