The Pumas will play in Wellington and the Gold Coast in successive weeks, and were given positive news as playmaker Juan Martin Hernandez has been included in the travelling party.
Hernandez suffered a torn hamstring in his right leg, but progress is sound and if cleared will likely start at first five-eighth to take on the World Champions.
The only major concern is Alvaro Galindo, who is still sitting out training and is expected to be out for another two to three weeks.
Juan Manuel Leguizamón, Agustin Creevy, Rafael Carballo and Maximiliano Bustos have also been added to the squad.
The Pumas are still in South America, stopping over in Santiago, before arriving in New Zealand later this weekend.
It will be the 15th test between the two sides, although the Argentinean Rugby Union recognises three non-capped matches played in the seventies as internationals.
