Wanganui were too good for Poverty Bay, winning 47-3, in what was the most impressive result of the round.

The Bush were the only away winners, coming out victorious in a tough arm wrestle against West Coast 12-8, while East Coast had to fight it out to claim a 20-18 win against Buller.

South Canterbury, now third on the table, defeated Thames Valley 42-37 in the highest scoring match of the week, while North Otago hold onto fourth spot despite suffering their first loss of the season 7-3 against Mid Canterbury.

In an exciting week four, Lochore Cup holders North Otago play off against South Canterbury to help decide the top four of the table.

But one cannot look further than Trust House Memorial Park in Masterton, where Wanganui will play Bush in a top-of-the-table clash.
