However White has decided to remain loyal, and the Australian Conference winners will roll out the same run on side for the third straight week, meaning that during the Investec Super Rugby Finals Series in matches against the Cheetahs and Bulls, the men from Canberra have had less selection changes than at any point in their season.

George Smith will have the chance to win his third Investec Super Rugby medal, being named at openside, while Clyde Rathbone will look to win his second after being named on the wing.

After beating the Bulls 26-23, the team was straight on the plane to Canberra, before heading to New Zealand earlier this week.

Playing a strict and effective brand of rugby, White said that despite some planning, the Brumbies wouldn't stray from what had worked for them all season.

"Laurie (Fisher) and Bernie (Stephen Larkham) spent hours looking for things, for trends (the Chiefs might use), and they're obviously two really astute students of the game," White said earlier this week.

"And I'm sure they (the Chiefs coaching team) would have looked at things and understood but I suppose the message that I would give to the players and to the coaching staff is we don't need to move anything away from what's worked for us.

"It's nothing to be embarrassed about, we've got a brand that works for us as a group. We're two years into our campaign, we get success, we have belief.

"There's no use now trying to reinvent the wheel, we've just got to do the things that we do really well, well under pressure situations."
