Retallick cleared for Chiefs, despite the moonboot
Brodie Retallick has been named in the Chiefs team to face the Crusaders this weekend in the Investec Super Rugby Semi-Final, despite the fact that he has missed many training sessions this week.
A sprained ankle has kept him out, but the break after the Blues win at Eden Park has allowed him to be cleared.
He told the Waikato Times that the battle between the two sides was about who was able to turn up on the day.
"When we went down there a couple of weeks ago they really set the standard of where we need to be at the weekend," he said.
"We know what they are going to bring and probably a little bit more."
"We talked a big game that week and we knew what we needed to do but we just didn't execute it and they did.
