The All Blacks are second on 379 from their 501 Tests so could establish a new record as The Investec Rugby Championship rolls on.

Meanwhile, plenty of All Blacks could break personal milestones as the World Champions look to defend their crown in the Southern Hemisphere's elite international competition.

Julian Savea scored 12 tries in nine Tests last year. The quickest All Blacks to get to 20 Test tries were Josevata Rokocoko (14 Tests), Sitiveni Sivivatu (20) Christian Cullen (21) and John Kirwan (23.

Daniel Carter is the leading points scorer in Tests in rugby history with 1399 points from 95 Test matches. He should therefore be the first to 1400 – and given a full season could be the first to 1500 points. Jonny Wilkinson is second on 1246.

Daniel Carter’s 1399 points includes a record 246 conversions and 248 penalty goals. He looks set to become the first player in Test rugby history to kick both 250 conversions and 250 penalty goals.

Behind Daniel Carter on the list of most Test conversions are Ronan O’Gara (176), Andrew Mehrtens (169) and Jonny Wilkinson (169). Grant Fox is 10th on the alltime list with 118.

Carter is currently second equal on the list of international players with the most penalty goals behind Wilkinson (255) and level wih Neil Jenkins.
