The Black Ferns full-back’s last-minute, match winning try against England ensured the team remained unbeaten going into the final game in the three-match series against a strong English side.

New Zealand Rugby General Manager Professional Rugby Neil Sorensen said the shortlist of ten tries showcased moments of brilliance in the ITM Cup, Investec Super Rugby, Black Ferns series, Steinlager Series and the Investec Rugby Championship.

“We’ve seen some exceptional tries this year and fans have a difficult choice to select just one. It’s proving a close contest that I am sure will run down to the wire as we find out what is the 2013 Fan’s Try of the Year.”

Other moments of magic up for the fan’s choice include Sam Cane v Australia, Ihaia West v Otago, Colin Slade v Sharks, Liam Squire v Hawkes Bay, Beauden Barrett v France, Jade Te Rure v Tasman, Ben Smith v South Africa, Tim Nanai-Williams v Highlanders and Ben Smith v Argentina.

Voting for the online poll closes on 25 November with the winning try announced at the 2013 Steinlager Rugby Awards on 5 December.
