History will be made on Saturday afternoon, when the first ever women’s match between Super Rugby clubs will be played in New Zealand. The Blues and Chiefs will be part of the inaugural women’s Super Rugby match, with the hope that a Super Rugby women’s competition will one day soon become part of the women’s schedule. It’s set to very a special occasion in women’s sport.

Whilst this morning’s news that World Rugby has made the tough decision to recommend the postponement of Rugby World Cup 2021 came as a huge shock to players and fans around the world, the Black Ferns are taking the impending decision on the chin and moving forward.
