A stalwart of the provincial sevens scene, Akuila Rokolisoa turned heads playing for Counties Manukau at the 2018 National Sevens and made his All Blacks Sevens debut in Hong Kong in 2018.

He was called into the Commonwealth Games squad as injury cover the following week and played at the Gold Coast Games, claiming a gold medal.

He has forced himself into regular selection and was a member of the World Cup Sevens winning All Blacks Sevens team. Before joining the All Blacks Sevens squad full time, Rokolisoa was an electrician.
