Gayle Broughton's is an exciting player with masterful footwork and the ability to set a match alight.
Born and raised in Taranaki, Broughton honed her skills on the touch field before joining the Black Ferns Sevens as an 18-year-old in 2014.
Broughton was a member of the Commonwealth Games Gold medal winning team and scored a crucial length-of-the-field try in the World Cup Sevens semi-final which saw the Black Ferns Sevens progress, and win, the Final.
Off the field Broughton is a qualified personal trainer.
