The traditional 6am dawn services were replaced by a #StandAtDawn movement which saw thousands of New Zealanders gather at the end of their driveways to share a minute’s silence and listen to a live service broadcast from Radio New Zealand.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said: "While we cannot physically come together, I know we are united by our respect for our veterans and our service personnel.”

Here’s how the rugby community paid tribute on this day of remembrance for New Zealand and Australia.
