Black Ferns midfielder and Waikato skipper Chelsea Alley posted this awesome pic with Olympian Sarah Walker and World Champion Silver Fern Casey Kopua at the AIMS Games last week. Her side went onto narrowly defeat Manawatu 15-12 in Palmerston North over the weekend.

Her Wellington Pride side came away with a close 38-36 win over the Counties Manukau Heat on Sunday, but Black Ferns lock Joanah Ngan-Woo still took the time to pose with her Black Ferns team mates Ayesha Leti-I’iga, Arihiana Marino-Tauhinu and Leilani Perese.

Arihiana posted her own shot of the Wellington girls literally raining on their parade.

Eloise Blackwell came off second best against her Black Ferns teammate Renee Wickliffe on Saturday, her Auckland Storm side got the W though defeating the Bay of Plenty Volcanix 28-19 in Whakatane.

Otago Spirit’s Rosie Buchanan-Brown posed with teammate Eillis Doyle after their win over Northland in Whangarei. Otago top the Championship table after winning both of their opening games.

Eloise Blackwell features twice. Just because how cool is this picture of all of these legends. Including Black Ferns skipper Les Elder, who we can’t wait to see in action very soon. Hopefully.

Congratulations to Lyric Faleafaga made her Wellington Pride debut on Sunday against Counties Manukau at Westpac Stadium. She had her family on the sideline supporting her, including her sister, Black Ferns Sevens player, Dhys.
