BIOGRAPHY
SHE HAS pace, power and a goose step.
Cheyelle Robins-Reti is coming off a compelling Farah Palmer Cup campaign with Waikato and can draw upon three years’ experience (2017-19) with the Black Ferns Sevens as she seeks to make her mark at the top level of the 15s game.
Robins-Reti first played for Waikato in 2016, showing she could handle fullback and even kick goals in her debut season. Then she went down the sevens route, appearing in six tournaments for the Black Ferns Sevens. She will still be training with them in 2020-21, but for now her focus falls on the 15s game.
Her 2020 stats, on the right wing, for Waikato were impressive, her six tries in eight games, including doubles against Taranaki and Bay of Plenty, making her one of the leading tryscorers in the competition.
Robins-Reti made her Test debut against England in Northampton in November 2021.
