Quick stepping Jordan Hyland is joining the Māori All Blacks for his first taste of international rugby after being called into the Highlanders halfway through the Investec Super Rugby season.
Hyland has been impressive at provincial level, scoring 50 points in 40 games for Northland, and his versatility on the wing or at fullback makes him a useful addition to the backline.
As a consistent starter for Northland, he was rewarded with selection for the Blues for the 2018 Investec Super Rugby season, and he made his debut against the Sunwolves, immediately making an impact getting over the line for two tries.
Despite being released from the Blues for the 2019 Investec Super Rugby season, he made his presence felt when he was brought into the Highlanders as cover for an injured Richard Buckman, scoring his first try for the side against the Lions.
