BIOGRAPHY

Kayla Ahki debuted in the inaugural World Series in 2012 and went on to be named World Rugby Player of the Year in the first season.

Ahki was a stand-out player for the Black Ferns Sevens through the 2013 World Cup victory and Olympic silver medal campaign.

Taking time out after the Olympics for the birth of her first child, Ahki returned for the Dubai Sevens in 2017 before moving to France and having another child.

She returns to the Black Ferns Sevens in 2020 in the build up to the Tokyo Olympics and is still in the top five point scorers in the team’s history.
