BIOGRAPHY
Consistent form over several seasons with the Bay of Plenty Volcanix has propelled Kendra Reynolds into the Black Ferns squad.
Equally at home in the No 7 or No 6 jersey, Reynolds was already on the selectors’ radar in 2019, making two appearances for the NZ Development XV in Fiji.
In 2020, she played mainly at blindside flanker for the Volcanix in the Farah Palmer Cup, striking up an effective loose trio combination with Les Elder and Pia Tapsell.
Her provincial debut was as far back as 2012 for Waikato, before shifting to Bay of Plenty in 2014, from where she has now played 37 games for the Volcanix.
Reynolds is the women’s rugby development manager for the Bay of Plenty union.
She made her Black Ferns debut off the bench against France in 2021.
