Ngāti Tahinga iwi-affiliated hooker Nathan Harris is a player of immense quality and brings extensive international experience to the Māori All Blacks.
Harris debuted for the All Blacks in 2014 before missing all international rugby in 2015 through injury. He returned in 2016 for just two tests before his season was again cruelly shortened by injury.
A timely return in 2017 saw him selected for the All Blacks for the DHL New Zealand Lions Series and he relished his opportunities when they came, including playing in all three Lions Tests as well as two Tests on the Vista Northern Tour later that year.
Harris is a key member of the Chiefs, playing all but three matches in their 2019 Investec Super Rugby campaign.
As a younger player, Harris was part of the New Zealand Under 20 side which made the Final of the 2012 Junior World Championship.
