BIOGRAPHY
Theresa Fitzpatrick is a powerful ball carrier with explosive speed off the mark. After joining the Auckland Sevens programme in 2013, Fitzpatrick made her Black Ferns Sevens debut in 2016 at the Atlanta Sevens. She took time off from her medical studies to give sevens her best shot and it paid off with selection for the Rio Olympic Games.
Fitzpatrick was also included in the 2017 Women’s World Cup winning Black Ferns side, adding to her already impressive success tally, which also includes a World Sevens Series title, an Olympic silver medal and Commonwealth Games gold medal.
She was a member of the Black Ferns Rugby World Cup 2021 winning squad.
