BIOGRAPHY
POWERFUL LOOSE FORWARD Whetukamokamo Douglas makes a return to the Māori All Blacks in 2019, after debuting in 2016 against Munster during their end of year Tour.
He debuted for the Crusaders in 2017 in their opening match against the Brumbies, scoring a try and immediately making an impact on the eventual champion side.
Douglas is known for being an ultimate team man, with a high work rate and natural leadership skills. Named co-captain for the Canterbury provincial side ahead of the 2018 Mitre 10 Cup season, Douglas was unfortunately ruled out halfway through the season with a fractured thumb.
He made a return to the Crusaders for the 2019 Super Rugby season, after his debut in 2017.
