BIOGRAPHY
A powerful forward, Ollie Sapsford played his junior rugby in Mid Canterbury and joined the All Blacks Sevens via the Mitre 10 Cup and a stint in Australian Rules.
In 2019 Sapsford played Mitre 10 Cup and TECT National Sevens for Hawke’s Bay and impressed selectors with his aerial skills and physicality.
In 2020 Sapsford won the Ranfurly Shield and Mitre 10 Cup Championship with Hawke’s Bay.
