Grace Gago is a promising, hard-working hooker out of Counties Manukau. After a stint on the side-line with injury Gago produced a strong Bunnings Warehouse Farah Palmer Cup (FPC) season for the Counties Manukau Heat she earnt selection in the Blues Sky Super Rugby Aupiki squad in 2023.

Gago debuted that year for the Blues against Matatū. Following a consistent Sky Super Rugby Aupiki season with the Blues, Gago was selected for the 2023 Black Ferns squad.

Gago made her debut in 2023 for the Black Ferns against USA in Ottawa, Canada.
