Captains Run 18th of July
We’re thrilled to be welcoming many of you to the Captains Run on Friday the 18th of July at FMG Stadium.
Here are the key details for Friday afternoon’s event.
- You’re asked to join us at FMG Stadium, Gate 4 at 1.45pm. When you arrive, please look out for the Black Jersey Pass Sign, and make your way towards it. We will check you in and then you will then be escorted to the VIP lounge.
- At 2.00pm All Blacks legend will connect with the group in the lounge. He will talk about his own journey as an All Black, offer you some insights in to camp life on a Test week and other unique All Blacks insights.
- At 2.25pm you will be escorted down to reserved seating for Captains Run.
- At 2.30pm The All Blacks will take to the field for their Captains Run.
- At the conclusion of their training, approx. 3.30pm the All Blacks will participate in signings and photos with the Captains Run attendees.
- The event will be complete by 4.00pm
Things To Note
- The Gates will close at 2.20pm and there will be no entry after this time.
- You will receive a QR Code via email a week out of this event, please bring the QR code to the event

- Filming and photography is not allowed during the Captains Run, this will be monitored.
- You are very welcome to take photos of your favourites and get ready for selfies once the training has concluded. Our event MC will inform you when you can pull those phones out.
Where is FMG Stadium?
FMG Stadium Waikato is located on Seddon Road in the heart of Hamilton and on the western side of the Waikato River.
How Do I Get There?
- Walk- An easy 15-20 minute walk from Hamilton’s CBD
- Bus -There are normal timetabled bus services from the city centre to Seddon Road. Check Timetables Here.
- Free Shuttle - Event-goers can ride a free rugby shuttle bus to FMG Stadium Waikato. Leaving from the Transport Centre around every 10 minutes, from an hour before kick-off, travelling via Knox, Victoria, Liverpool and London streets to Seddon Road. You can jump on up at any official bus stop along the way. See a map of the route here.
- Uber/ Taxi - Taxi pick-ups and drop-offs are possible outside the FMG Stadium Waikato road closure area
Match Day 20th of July
It’s match day! All Blacks vs France kicks off at 7:05PM at FMG Stadium When you arrive, Black Jersey Pass staff will be positioned at the top of your seating aisle to help guide you to your seat.
