The match schedule and ticket prices for Men’s Rugby World Cup Australia 2027 have been revealed, confirming dates, venues, and kick-off times for all 52 tournament matches.
The All Blacks’ first match will be against Chile in Perth on 2 October, followed by an epic clash against tournament hosts, Australia, in Sydney the following weekend. The final weekend of pool play will see Rugby World Cup first-timers, Hong Kong China, take on the All Blacks in Melbourne.

ALL BLACKS POOL PHASE DRAW:
Saturday 2 October, 13:15 local time / 18:15 NZT, All Blacks v Chile, Perth Stadium
Saturday 9 October, 17:10 local time / 19:10 NZT, All Blacks v Australia, Stadium Australia, Sydney
Friday 15 October, 17:15 / 19:15 NZT, All Blacks v Hong Kong China, Docklands Stadium, Melbourne

New Zealand Rugby’s General Manager Professional Rugby & Performance, Chris Lendrum, said there is no doubt fans down-under will embrace an All Blacks vs Wallabies pool match in the tournament’s largest stadium.
“Playing the Rugby World Cup hosts is always a special experience, but when they are also our nearest rivals, and at a venue that will be packed with 82,000 rugby fans, including many All Blacks supporters who will cross the ditch to be there – the atmosphere will be electric.
“It will also be fantastic to be part of the opening weekend in Perth when we face Chile for the first time, and to play Hong Kong China in their first ever Rugby World Cup at the tournament’s only fully enclosed venue.
“Having this certainty around venues means Kiwi fans can now start planning how they want to be part of the event, and hopefully we will have a strong contingent of All Blacks supporters at each of our games.”
The 2027 Rugby World Cup features an expanded 24-team format, over seven consecutive weekends. Two matches staged in the same city over the same weekend will take place across all seven host cities, creating an international festival atmosphere with fans from up to four nations sharing the experience. The pool phase will conclude in an historic Super Sunday on 17 October, featuring five Rugby World Cup matches played in a single day.
Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney will host the first-ever round of 16, before Brisbane Stadium and Stadium Australia in Sydney host back-to-back quarter-finals on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 October. The tournament will conclude in Sydney with the semi-finals and bronze final, then the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 Final to be played on Saturday 13 November 2027.
