Ofa Tu’ungafasi and Jamie Hannah have been called into the All Blacks squad as injury replacements for Ethan de Groot and Josh Lord.

De Groot and Lord will continue to progress through World Rugby’s concussion protocols following the opening Test of the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series against South Africa at Ellis Park.

The All Blacks made a strong start to the four-Test series in Johannesburg, defeating the Springboks 33-16 after outscoring the hosts five tries to one.

Tu’ungafasi adds significant Test experience to the front row, while lock Hannah joins the squad as cover for Lord.

Attention now turns to the midweek clash with the Lions in Johannesburg on Tuesday, before the All Blacks and Springboks meet again in the second Test of the series in Cape Town next Saturday.
