With the overall winner not decided until the final game of Round 6, Fantasy managers were on the edge of their seats until the very last whistle.

Round 6 delivered some standout performances. Argentinian winger Bautista Delguy topped the week with 78 points in the Pumas’ narrow loss to the Springboks at Twickenham. He scored two tries, made three linebreaks, and was a constant menace on attack, rewarding those who backed him with a huge haul. Springbok hooker Malcolm Marx continued the trend of high-scoring number 2s, earning 65 points with two tries, two turnovers, and relentless tackling. All Blacks centre Quinn Tupaea also impressed against the Wallabies in Perth, scoring two tries, making three linebreaks, and contributing solid defensive work.

In the overall standings, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu finished on top with 230 points from just five appearances, despite only starting twice. All Blacks loose forward Ardie Savea, the most picked and captained player, was second with 224 points, while Marx jumped into third overall with 220 points, a tidy reward for the 21% of managers who gambled on him in the final week. Argentina’s Julian Montoya finished fourth with 201 points, just ahead of Australia’s Joseph Sua’ali’i and All Blacks fullback Will Jordan, both on 200 points.

The ultimate winner of Fantasy TRC 2025 was Will Christiansen, who shot to first place in the final week with 553 points. He used a booster to triple-captain Feinberg-Mngomezulu for 159 points and also benefited from strong contributions from Marx, Tupaea, Carreras, and Jordan.

With the winner decided in the final game and points swinging wildly until the end, the 2025 Fantasy Rugby Championship captured the thrill, unpredictability, and excitement of rugby - both on the field and in Fantasy.

Fantasy players can look forward to the return of Super Rugby Fantasy in 2026 with pre-registrations beginning in November.
