New Zealand’s Men's Development Sevens squad will take on Fiji and Samoa across a nine-match international Sevens series at Blake Park in Tauranga this weekend, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026.

The three men's sides will each play six matches over the two days, with the New Zealand Development team meeting both Fiji and Samoa three times. The series runs alongside the fifth edition of Ignite7, New Zealand Rugby's showcase of the country's most promising Sevens talent.

Recent All Blacks Sevens graduates Riley Williams and Sam Clarke, who both came through Ignite7 in 2025, headline the New Zealand Development squad. They will be joined by Brayden Neilson, Waisake Salabiau and Nathan Salmon.

New Zealand Development open their campaign against Fiji at 11.56am on Saturday before facing Samoa at 3.48pm, and close out day one with a second meeting with Fiji at 5.44pm. On Sunday, New Zealand play Samoa at 10.00am and again at 2.40pm, before a final showdown with Fiji at 4.34pm to wrap up the weekend.

All matches will be live streamed on New Zealand Rugby's YouTube channel. Admission at Blake Park is free, with the first match kicking off at 10.00am on both days.
